In this week’s March 25, 2015 article entitled, Selfie Sticks and Other Selfie Gear Go Mainstream, NYTimes.com noted that a fast growing market fueled by love of self and smartphone technology is emerging.
The authors predict that 2015 will be the year that selfie gear go mass market.
We noticed a similar trend in late 2013, which was later confirmed when Oxford dictionary declared “selfie” the word of the year for 2014. The interest and demand for our selfie USB flash drives has been outstanding. Google Trends revealed the rapid uptick in selfie searches beginning in 2013. This term can be compared to the volume of searches for “flash drive” to fully appreciate its ascent into mainstream.
